Pedro García-Caro, University of Oregon
Pedro García-Caro es profesor asistente de español en la Universidad de Oregon. Su investigación versa sobre las relaciones entre las narrativas nacionalistas y los discursos del progreso y la modernidad vistos desde el punto de vista de intelectuales y escritores en Latinoamérica, Estados Unidos, y España. Acaba de completar un manuscrito, “After the Nation: Post-National History as Satire in the Works of Thomas Pynchon and Carlos Fuentes” y actualmente trabaja en otro, “Undermining Empire: Mining Literature and the Aesthetics of Natural Determination.
