José Eduardo González, University of Nebraska

José Eduardo González is associate professor in the Modern Languages & Literatures Department at the Univertsity of Nebraska, Lincoln. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico and received his master and PhD in Comparative Literature from Binghamton University (New York). His area of specialization is Contemporary and Recent Latin American Narrative. He frequently teaches seminars on the Latin American Short Story, The Modern (Boom) Novel in Latin America and Primitivism. His research focuses on the Latin American Novel, Popular Culture, Critical Theory and Literary History.
