Abstract
Anna Indych-López’s new book Muralism without Walls: Rivera, Orozco, and Siqueiros in the United States, 1927-1940 is an invaluable contribution to the burgeoning literature on Mexican muralism. Published as part of the University of Pittsburgh Press’s Illuminations: Cultural Formations of the Americas series, the book examines Diego Rivera’s, José Clemente Orozco’s, and David Alfaro Siqueiros’ non-mural or portable fresco projects in the United States, a topic that has until now been overlooked in the literature.
