Author Biography

Margo Echenberg, Universidad de Monterrey

Margo Echenberg was trained in Canada and the United States as a Hispanist, She has lived and worked in Mexico since 2000. Her main area of expertise is literary criticism of Latin American women writers, primarily of the seventeenth and twentieth centuries. She is particularly interested in the intersection of literature, gender studies and peace studies. While her publications contribute primarily to fields engaged by specialists, her dedication to teaching higher education in Mexico is fuelled by her belief that the Humanities are vital to cultural richness and the promotion of positive social change.
