Abstract

The following reflections investigate the connections among fascism, populism and political massacre, mostly in Argentina.  The text reviews and questions the solid books on political history by Federico Finchelstain. The strategic use of authoritarian lies and thrusts is a key element of the discussion.

Alejandro Solomianski, California State University, Los Angeles

Alejandro Solomianski is Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at California State University, Los Angeles. He is the author among other texts, of Identidades Secretas (Beatriz Viterbo, 2003) and  Otras voces. Nuevas identidades en la frontera sur de California (Testimonios) (Editorial A Contracorriente, 2011).
