Author Biography

Joanna Crow, University of Bristol

Joanna Crow is Lecturer in Latin American Studies at the University of Bristol. She has published various articles and book chapters on debates about national identity and indigenous peoples in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Chile, and she is author of the monograph The Mapuche in Modern Chile: A Cultural History, which is due out with University of Florida Press in January 2013. She is currently working on a new research project about Peruvian-Chilean intellectual encounters.
