John Beverley, University of Pittsburgh

John Beverley II is Distinguished Professor of Latin American Literature and Culture in the Departament of Hispanic Languages and Literatures at the University of Pittsburgh.  A world renown expert in and theorist of testimonio, cultural studies, subalternity and marxism, he has published may books, most recently,  Latinamericanism after 9/11.
